To take our platform to the next level, we are looking for a passionate (Junior) Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Umweltbonus GmbH to join our small, agile team. You’ll take ownership of exciting projects from concept to production, work with a modern tech stack including React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript, and have the freedom to bring your own ideas to life. With short decision paths, fast releases, and the latest AI tools, you'll make a real impact from day one.

Your profile

• Several years of professional software development experience
• Hands-on experience building software independently with Node.js, React, and TypeScript
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies and practices for responsive web development
• Practical experience working with relational databases
• A strong sense of ownership and a passion for excellence
• Effective organizational and time-management skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English (German is a plus)

Your tasks

• Work as a full-stack developer in a very small, agile team with high responsibility, from coding to deploying and operating on AWS
• Independently develop brand-new features and responsive UIs for desktop, tablet, and mobile across our apps using React and Next.js
• Build backend services and REST APIs with Node.js and NestJS, as well as background jobs and data migrations using BullMQ, Redis, TypeORM, and MySQL
• Maintain and evolve our modern tech stack (including Turborepo and Vite) and deployment pipelines to keep our systems stable, scalable, and maintainable
• Contribute your own ideas in close collaboration with product and IT teams, with benefiting from short decision-making processes and fast release cycles
• Work with the latest AI tools daily to move fast, automate routine tasks, and focus on solving real engineering problems
