Your responsibilities
Are you well-versed in theory and now looking for practical experience in a dynamic company? Then use your talent and expertise to help us with the following tasks
- Hardware Setup & Baseline: Familiarize yourself with developer boards and cameras to establish a reproducible BSH test environment based on BSH input
- Camera & ISP Analysis: Systematically analyze key camera and ISP settings and their sensitivity on pre-trained AI models
- Trade-off Evaluation: Assess the impact and relationships between ISP configurations, image compression and resulting AI classification accuracy
- Automated Optimization: Develop an automated framework to identify optimized parameter profiles for typical home appliance operating scenarios
- Benchmarking & Guidelines: Compare performance gains against default camera configs & document practical integration guidelines for series development
Your profile
- Advanced master's studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a comparable technical field
- Strong interest or first experience in image processing, computer vision and embedded systems
- Programming skills in Python and experience with OpenCV and ML libraries (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
- German language is a plus
