The Fraunhofer Institute for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology ITMP researches and develops innovative methods for the early detection, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and diseases resulting from impaired immune system functions.
The focus of the Fraunhofer Branch Office for Immunology, Infection and Pandemic Research IIP is on the development of interventions to combat the outbreak of new infectious diseases and the spread of existing ones. In addition, the aim is to improve the treatment of infections and their immunological sequelae. We use our expertise to develop and test new multi-parameter diagnostics, new antiviral and immunomodulatory therapeutics and new active and passive vaccines. We also focus on the development of new devices, which include technical solutions for interrupting infection pathways as well as new point-of-need devices for diagnostics. The topic of data science, which spans all fields, is of central importance to our research.

Your tasks
You will check and process our employees‘ business trip applications in SAP.
You will organize business trips in a service-oriented manner, taking into account the legal requirements of the Federal Travel Expenses Act (BRKG).
You will also support your colleagues with travel planning and book all means of travel and accommodation (train, flight, rental car, hotel, etc.).
You will assist our travelers in preparing their travel expense reports and settle them in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions.
Last but not least, you will be responsible for general administrative tasks.
Your qualifications
Completed training as a tourism management assistant or similar commercial training and experience in travel management
Ideally initial experience in the application of the Federal Travel Expenses Act
Routine with MS Office programs and at best knowledge of SAP
Good written and spoken English
An independent and structured way of working, a friendly and confident manner and a strong service orientation
