Within Controlling & Finance, CF R 5 4 is responsible for standardizing and ensuring quality in the value flow of ERP systems. We specify requirements and design solutions for accounting processes in ERP systems with Siemens-wide relevance. As part of this responsibility, a transformation project named SHERPA X has been initiated to develop and roll out a uniform financial solution based on SAP S/4HANA technology.

This will be your impact:

• You are responsible and accountable for projects in the accounting area and drive them till they can be successfully completed
• You empower and guide virtual teams with care 
• You interface between requesting departments, the Steering Committee, and project participants, inform about project progress, coordinate milestones, and communicate feedback in both directions
• You communicate with cross functional teams such as Siemens parties, service providers, external partners, etc., at various hierarchical levels and demonstrate good communication skills
• You conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• You monitor project progress, identity and address any deviations and provide regular updates to all partners and collaborators
• You define accounting and procurement standards within your area of responsibility and represent this governance to partners
• You execute and manage analyses and evaluations of processes and business transactions, plan and monitor project content and deadlines, and collect and structure key information and data
• You prepare and follow-up decision-making meetings and coordination rounds, including moderation
• You stay ahead of on industry trends and best practices related to accounting, controlling, IT integration, project methodology

This is how you'll win us over: 

• Education: University degree in business studies or an equivalent qualification 
• Experience & Skills:
• Project Management skills and experience
• Long-term operational experience in accounting and finance, including representation in ERP systems, ideally at a multinational company
• Experience with agile project methodology; testing protocols and quality assurance processes and how to organize trainings
• Proficient in tool-supported project management and agile working methods
• Experience in working with international teams and international management proficiency in MS Office is required
• Technical understanding of S/4HANA and its capabilities and functionalities 
• Ways of working:

• Implementation strength, creativity, result and customer orientation, initiative, and team motivation.
• Languages: business proficiency in German and English
