For our location in Parsdorf near Munich we are currently looking for a
Project Manager PMO Working Capital & Controlling (f/m/d)
Job Description
- Lead the Working Capital Improvement Workstream end-to-end on global KM Group level, focusing on strategic planning and execution to optimize working capital
- Develop and execute strategies, as well as optimizing procurement, production and accounts receivable processes, thereby reducing inventory, accelerating receivables collection, and extending account payable terms to maximize cash flow
- Lead project team to align working capital initiatives across KM entities
- Work with finance, procurement, sales and operations to identify and implement best practices in working capital management
- Initiate analysis of group financial performance and report on KPIs related to working capital and financial performance, providing regular insights and updates to senior management
- Drive change management to ensure sustainable improvements in financial metrics, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in financial or project management, preferably within a PMO or similar function in an industrial manufacturing environment (ideally not limited to KM working experience)
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects and project teams aimed at working capital reduction, controlling and financial optimization
- Strong background in financial analysis and reporting, with a proven ability to understand and influence B&S and P&L outcomes
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, ideally with a focus on financial management or supply chain optimization
- Language skills required: German, English; Chinese is a plus
- Exceptional analytical skills with extensive experience in financial performance management and process improvement methodologies
- High initiative and a strong sense of responsibility, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to balance change initiatives while supporting colleagues to achieve targeted results within critical constraints
