As a Residence Coordinator, you will ensure the well-being and satisfaction of our international students at the EF Language Abroad residences, working full-time while reporting to the Residence Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
Welcoming students: manage check-ins/outs to ensure all students feel at home during their stay.
Room checks: inspect and maintain quality standards for rooms and facilities used by students and staff.
Emergency support: be on-call to handle all issues as they arise, with safeguarding and student welfare as the top priority.
Residence Duties such as curfew checks, welfare checks, supervision of meals
Reports: submit a daily report about issues or modifications in the residence
Residence Reception Rotation
Administrative Tasks: compiling checklists, room allocations & changes, compiling of house keeping list, meal order lists
Minimum of B2 German level(reading, writing, speaking)
Working fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Full working rights in Germany
Someone who is approachable and handles challenges with positivity
Innovative and detail-oriented with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Highly organized, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential (working hours are mainly in the evening and at the weekend)
Experience living, working, or studying abroad is a plus
All additional languages & good know of Excel are a plus
Half-Board included
