About the role
As Senior Product Owner – AdTech (m/f/d), you take on the functional leadership of our "Ads & Feed” Crew and strategically and technologically advance our advertising and ad-targeting capabilities.A key focus is the deeper integration of our third-party AdTech systems into the PAYBACK Marketing Platform, with the goals of reducing manual processes, driving automation, and making our solutions scalable in the long term.Together with your crew, you are also responsible for the end-to-end delivery and display of ads across internal and external channels. In particular, the PAYBACK Mobile App, including the integration of our Ad Server SDK, plays a central role.
Your day-to-day work
- You provide functional leadership to the "Ads & Feed” Crew and are responsible for the product capabilities around booking, targeting, and delivering ads, from the product vision and MVPs through to the long-term target state
- You drive the integration of our third-party Ad Server into the PAYBACK Marketing Platform and develop scalable, automated booking and targeting processes
- You are responsible for the integration and display of ads in our user-facing channels, particularly in the PAYBACK App, including the integration, maintenance, and upgrades of the Ad Server SDK
- You prioritize requirements and product increments with a focus on business impact, technical feasibility, performance, and user experience, and manage the roadmap and backlog
- You act as the central interface between Business, Tech, and the external Ad Server provider, advise on requirements, and develop suitable product solutions together with your stakeholders
- You monitor developments in the AdTech and MarTech market, assess their potential for PAYBACK, and derive concrete impulses for the further development of your product area
You’re a great fit for this role if …
- You have several years of solid experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a digital environment and have already been responsible for products or platform capabilities in the AdTech environment
- You own a very good understanding of AdTech systems such as Ad Servers, DMPs, and DSPs as well as topics such as Ad Operations, Ad Trafficking, Targeting and billing
- You have experience integrating third-party systems via APIs as well as with mobile applications, in-app advertising, and the lifec ycle mana gement of mobile SDKs
- You quickly understand complex system architectures and technical processes and further develop them with scalability and automation in mind
- You confidently manage product vision, roadmap, priorities, and backlog, work confidently with Jira and Confluence, and convincingly engage different stakeholders
- You bring team spirit, a hands-on mentality, and a solution-oriented way of working as well as very good German and English language skills
