Your role as (Senior) Technical Product Manager - Data & AI

As aTechnical Product Manager,you will be the central interface between business and technology, responsible for prioritizing and managing the project from both a technical and business perspective. Your focus will be onorchestrating data and AI use casesand building orfurther developing scalable data platforms.

With a clear focus onbusiness value, you ensure that all requirements are implemented efficiently and that the developed solutions create measurable added value. The Product Manager assumesend-to-end responsibilityfor the product and works closely with the customer and the entire implementation team to realize innovative and future-proof solutions.

Your tasks & responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Definition of the product vision and derivation of the product roadmap

• Requirements management: Translation of business requirements into technical specifications for data & AI use cases and the data platform.

• Product Backlog Management: Building and prioritizing the product backlog, taking into account business value, technical feasibility, dependencies, and blockers.

• Development & Scaling: Responsibility for building MVPs and developing them into scalable products and platforms.

• Product Teams: Close coordination with Data Solution Architects, Data Engineers and AI Engineers to implement data-driven solutions.

• Development methods: Ensuring efficiency through the use of Scrum, Kanban, DevOps and SRE principles

• Team & Meeting Coordination: Organization of meetings and agile ceremonies with the team and the client.

• Performance measurement & optimization: Using KPIs and OKRs for continuous improvement of solutions

• Compliance & Data Protection: Coordination of regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA) for data-driven solutions

• Sustainability & Scalability: Ensuring the long-term maintainability and scalability of the developed solutions.

• Project responsibility: Managing the team and budget for successful implementation

• Stakeholder management: Structured coordination with business departments and management regarding status, risks, and new opportunities.

What you bring to the table – your skills & experience

• Product Discovery & Development:Experience with methods and principles (such as Scrum, Kanban, DevOps and SRE) as well as market-leading ticketing systems and wikis (such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)

• Business Value Orientation:Ability to derive business value and impact and to align the roadmap and product backlog accordingly.

• Hands-on mentality:Enjoyment of proactively shaping and driving forward products.

• Technical understanding of data and AI platforms:Project experience in establishing cloud data platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) and analytics and AI use cases based on them.

• Data architectures and concepts:Basic understanding of concepts such as data warehouse, data lakehouse, self-service BI, and MLOps

• Stakeholder management & communication:Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a way that is understandable to management, business & IT teams.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in (business) informatics, business administration with a technical focus or a related field

Language skills:

• Fluent and negotiation-level language skills in German and English

Your role in the project – contribution and area of ​​responsibility

As a Product Manager, you accompany the projectfrom strategy to the operational use of the product / platformand assumestrategic, professional and technical responsibility.

• Strategy & Objectives: Derivation of the objectives for the overall project and derivation of the central success measurement

• Discovery & Conception: Identification of customer segments, customer journeys, problem and solution spaces

• Development & Implementation: Ensuring efficient implementation in accordance with technical and business requirements.

• Go-Live & Operations: Conducting UATs, coordinating final acceptances, and providing hypercare support after go-live.

• Project organization: Resource and budget management as well as regular status reports for transparent communication.

• Up- and cross-selling potential: Identifying new expansion stages for the developed solutions and coordinating with our account managers.

As a Product Manager, you work closely with key stakeholders on the customer side and ensure seamless alignment between business and technology.

• Project Manager– Together you define the product goals and ensure that the highest possible business value is delivered.

• Business Owner– You coordinate closely with our customers' specialist departments and continuously refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
