The Chair of Software Engineering and AI (Prof. Chunyang Chen) at the TUM Campus Heilbronn is looking for a motivated Student Assistant to support our teaching activities. Our research and teaching focus on the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Engineering, with a special emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI in software engineering.
Your Tasks
- You will primarily support the teaching team for our courses on AI and Agent-based Software Engineering.
- Assisting in the preparation and update of course materials (slides, coding exercises).
- Designing and testing practical coding assignments involving LLMs and Agents.
- Supporting students during tutorial sessions or via online forums.
- Helping to evaluate and grade student submissions.
Your Profile
- Student Status: Currently enrolled at TUM.
- Tech Stack: Strong programming skills in Python. Experience with AI coding (e.g., using OpenAI APIs, LangChain, HuggingFace, or building autonomous agents) is highly desirable.
- Location: Ideally based in Heilbronn or willing to commute occasionally.
- Motivation: You enjoy explaining complex technical concepts to others and have a passion for teaching.
- Language: Proficient in English (written and spoken); German is a plus but not required.
