What You’ll Be Doing

• Define platform architecture and technical standards that improve scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Design and develop critical platform components in Rust and/or Go to establish technical direction through hands-on contribution.
• Evaluate open-source technologies and technology choices to help the team make informed, future-ready decisions.
• Guide architectural decisions across distributed systems, messaging infrastructure, and edge computing solutions to support business growth.
• Mentor engineers through technical reviews, knowledge sharing, and architectural guidance to strengthen engineering excellence.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on proficiency in Rust and/or Go.
• Proven track record of architecting and building distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in real-time messaging systems (MQTT, AMQP, Kafka) and edge computing patterns.
• Experience making build-versus-buy technology decisions and managing relationships with open source projects.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies for edge environments.
• Strong communication skills for technical collaboration, documentation, and community engagement in English.
• A "Let's get it done" mindset—you take initiative, solve problems, and make things happen.
• End-to-end ownership—you own the entire product, from code, tests, and CI/CD pipelines to reliability and delivering a great user experience.
