Your role in our shared journey
Located in Neuss (Germany), you'll contribute to our mission by leading the HR function for Germany and Central European Countries whilst serving as a key member of the EMEA HR Management Team. As Head of HR, you will manage a team of HR Advisors and oversee all human resources aspects for office, retail and warehouse employees, including recruitment, policy development and collaboration with unions and works councils.
Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Leads and manages the HR team whilst providing strategic guidance to local management teams across Germany and Central Europe.
• Implements and oversees ASICS Europe HR strategy within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with company objectives and values.
• Collaborates with unions and works councils to maintain positive employee relations and ensure compliance with labour regulations.
• Develops and updates HR policies and procedures whilst working closely with expertise centres across the EMEA region.
• Oversees recruitment processes and ensures cultural fit of new employees within the organisation's framework.
• Manages all HR aspects for office, retail and warehouse employees, including performance management and employee development.
• Partners with HR managers across EMEA to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain consistent HR practices throughout the region.
You have the following skills:
• Expert knowledge of German labour law and HR practices in Central European markets.
• Proven leadership experience in managing HR teams across multiple locations.
• Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication abilities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in working with unions and works councils.
• Strategic thinking capabilities with experience in policy development and implementation.
