In the area of ​​Business Intelligence & Operational Controlling, you will be the designer of a robust, transparent data landscape – with a focus on analytics engineering, forecasting, and business impact.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO US

• You will play a key role in building a technically sophisticated mart layer with dbt, on which reporting, analysis, and machine learning can be built.
• You model data along central business processes – especially at the interface to finance and controlling – and thus lay the foundation for financial analytics and business analyses.
• You develop forecasting models and simulations that specifically support operational control and planning.
• You are a sparring partner for specialist departments when it comes to analytical requirements and data-driven decision models.
• You will analyze and validate data sets and contribute to the further development of our reporting environment in Power BI – acting as a bridge between data engineering, business, and management.
• You use machine learning methods specifically, e.g., for anomaly detection, segmentation, or pattern recognition, when they provide real added value.

• A completed degree in (business) informatics, mathematics, data science or a comparable qualification.
• Deep experience in SQL and modeling with dbt, ideally with an understanding of Data Vault or similar modeling methods.
• Solid know-how in Python, ideally complemented by initial experience with forecasting and ML tools
• Experience in using Power BI and a good feel for the requirements of finance and controlling.
• An analytical mindset, enthusiasm for structured data models, and the desire to translate data into business insights.
• Ideally, knowledge of SAP ERP and common BI architecture.
