As a Business Operations Strategy & Planning Manager (f/m/d), your day will be dynamic and impactful. You will be a key member of the Global Business Function Team, responsible for initiating, driving, and steering Business Excellence projects within the Gas Services Distributed organization. These projects are integral to our overarching strategy to grow, protect, and decarbonize the fleet and will support key enablers such as the performance triangle, people & culture, and customer satisfaction.
Alongside Operational Excellence projects, you will work closely with your peers in Customer Satisfaction Management and Market/Growth/Pricing team ensuring alignment across portfolio.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across product lines, global execution and global service business. Using your analytical expertise and extensive project leadership experience, you will develop solutions to complex challenges and communicate them effectively to senior partners within and outside the organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Leadership and support of Business Excellence projects and strategic topics
- Development of strategic and tactical decision-making processes including scenario simulation and wargaming
- Analysis of complex business challenges and initiation of targeted, end-to-end strategic projects
- Coordination and preparation of senior management reviews and executive-level communications
- Facilitation of cross-organizational collaboration through virtual project teams and alignment across market segments, application types, and other business dimensions
- Promotion of continuous improvement and relationship management with key internal and external collaborators
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, natural sciences, economics, or business administration
- Proven track record in leading strategic, cross-functional, and international improvement projects
- Extensive experience in business development, strategic consulting, and corporate strategy, with regular engagement at executive and board level
- Strong enthusiasm for innovation in New Unit and Service Business for Small, Medium, and Aeroderivative Gas Turbines, as well as Additive Manufacturing, and Energy Assets
- Ability to lead, motivate, and coach diverse project teams in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills in English and experience working in a global organization
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
