This is what you can expect after your application:

• Online check with a focus on your interests and values: You will then automatically receive your personal evaluation — as valuable support for your career orientation.
• Orientation call: Together we will discuss your results and find the internship area that suits you best. In doing so, we deliberately focus on one area of application so that you can dive as deep as possible.

Important: A virtual introductory meeting will only take place if your documents and results match our offer well.

Your Profile

We focus on you! Your internship is your chance to try out new things, ask questions and find out what you enjoy — without any previous knowledge. We let you take a look behind the scenes, give you exciting insights and are by your side as you discover your strengths.

To take a look behind the scenes with us, you should bring the following:

• You are currently attending school and are aiming for a secondary school leaving certificate, secondary school diploma, high school diploma or a comparable school leaving certificate
• Are you interested in technical topics — or simply want to try out whether this area suits you
• You enjoy working in a team and are open to learning new things
• You want to discover what things look like behind the scenes at Deutsche Telekom and are curious about our day-to-day work

Students can complete these types of internships with us for professional orientation:

• Compulsory internship in general education schools (no minimum age, max. internship duration: 1-3 weeks)
• Compulsory school internship vocational school (no minimum age, max. internship duration: 3 months)
• Voluntary orientation internship during school holidays (minimum age: 15 years, max. internship duration: 4 weeks)

Important: Please indicate the desired period in your application and — if it is a mandatory internship — upload the proof directly.

Application period: To ensure that your internship with us is not only good, but really good, we need a bit of advance notice. In this way, we can work together to find the right area of employment for you and prepare everything optimally. Therefore, apply at least 6 months and at least 2 months before your desired start date. Please note: Whether the internship can actually take place always depends on whether a suitable area of employment is available in the desired period of time.
