Tasks:

• Creation of documents in the course of project work for our land and water-based radio monitoring and direction finding systems
• Responsibility for the documents assigned to a project, organization of processing, review and publication
• Conception, creation and continuous maintenance of text modules for the various system components and subject areas (e.g. hardware, software, configuration, user manuals, maintenance, repair)
• Together with the project team, you determine customer requirements for the documentation, observe internal specifications and standards and implement these together with quality management Configuration control and management with regard to the documentation
• You ensure that projects are documented internally (according to company specifications) and externally (according to customer requirements) and that documents are available on time and in the required quality

Skills:

• Completed training as a technical writer or technical professional experience with specialization in technical writing/documentation or comparable training with corresponding professional experience
• Extensive experience in the field of document creation and organization based on internal (quality and process guidelines) and external (contracts, standards, norms) specifications
• Basic knowledge of normative guidelines such as documentation standard S1000D and STE (Simplified Technical English)
• Technical expertise and understanding of regulations
• Good understanding of and proximity to complex systems
• High degree of independence in work planning and independent implementation of tasks
• Strong willingness to work in a team in your own department and in the project working groups
• Confident communication with internal and external contacts
• Good German and very good written and spoken English skills
