Business Development Manager (m/f/d)
Über diesen Job
PFASuiki is developing advanced electrochemical oxidation technology to enable true destruction of PFAS (“forever chemicals”) at source. We operate in a high-growth, regulatory-driven market, where clients are under increasing pressure to address persistent pollutants.
Success requires more than technology - it requires the ability to translate technical capability into credible, commercially viable deployment pathways.
We are seeking a technically grounded, commercially sharp Business Development Manager to support driving PFASuiki’s growth across Europe.
This is a consultative, technical-commercial role, responsible for building a structured, high-quality pipeline and progressing opportunities through: initial engagement to full-scale deployment.
You will work at the interface of clients, engineering, and market strategy, ensuring opportunities are both technically credible and commercially viable.
Aufgaben
1. Pipeline & Market Development
- Own the Sales Cycle: Qualify and manage a prioritized pipeline across key sectors including landfills, industrial wastewater, chemicals, and semiconductors.
- Strategic Qualification: Evaluate opportunities based on regulatory pressure, matrix complexity, and commercial likelihood of conversion.
- Sales Hygiene: Maintain disciplined CRM usage (HubSpot) to establish repeatable forecasting and stage definitions.
2. Consultative Sales & Opportunity Progression
- Technical Translation: Convert PFASuiki’s technology into clear value propositions centered on compliance, risk reduction, and cost optimization.
- Strategic Entry Points: Position feasibility studies and pilot programs as the primary gateway to long-term, full-scale implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the lead interface bridging the gap between on-site EHS managers, engineering firms (EPCs), and C-suite procurement.
3. Commercial Structuring & Execution
- Negotiation: Own the commercial stack, from initial NDAs and MoUs to final pricing, pilot agreements, and deployment contracts.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Engineering to align feasibility scope with technical reality and with Marketing to convert event engagement (e.g., IFAT) into qualified leads.
4. Regulatory & Market Insight
- Market Intelligence: Track evolving PFAS regulations and translate compliance frameworks into targeted market opportunities.
- Feedback Loop: Feed structured customer insights back to the product team to inform our technology roadmap.
Qualifikation
Experience & Profile
- Background: Degree in Environmental/Chemical Engineering or Science, with 3+ years in technical B2B business development (ideally in the water, environmental, or industrial sectors).
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record in multi-stakeholder, consultative sales and navigating complex technical-commercial discussions.
- Market Savvy: Strong understanding of regulatory-driven markets and the adoption of emerging green technologies.
- Systems & Communication: Proficient with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and able to communicate effectively with both engineers and C-suite stakeholders.
- Startup Fit: A structured, proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments.
- Languages: Native or professional fluency in English and German.
Benefits
What We Offer
- A mission-driven environment tackling one of the world’s most urgent environmental challenges.
- The opportunity to shape PFASuiki’s commercial strategy and establish a market-leading position.
- Competitive compensation, transport allowance, lunch subsidies and team events.
- Direct influence on how PFAS destruction technology is deployed across Europe.
Join our mission! If you are a passionate Business Development Manager with the drive to make "forever chemicals" a problem of the past, we want to hear from you.
