Tasks
- Analyze tender and coordinate with respective departments and network tenders (from overseas organizations and agents) for pricing and informative data
- Gather information from various sources as well as preparation of company presentation in response to Request for Information (RFI)
- Responsible for validating information and consolidation of pricing data for the Request for Proposal (RFP) submission
- Maintain pricing database of transportation rates, logistics/distribution rates
- Maintain tender data profiling and records, including the update of monthly bid log, and completed tenders, successful and unsuccessful bids
- Support market intelligence on competitors’ pricing, capabilities, facilities, client base, products and services for competition analysis
Qualifications
- University degree holder
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing and RFQ, sales or customer service in Freight Forwarding industry
- Familiar with worldwide markets
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Mature, independent, self-motivated and well organized
- Able to work under pressure
- Fluent in spoken and written English, and a local language
- Proficient in MS office applications, in particular strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables and formulas)
