We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead our client’s ongoing Securing Program. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with a strong governance.

You should be experienced in both classical and agile management & delivery methodologies, be well structured and keenly focused on delivery.

Working Location : Olten or Lausanne

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop roadmaps, project charters and detailed delivery plans
• Initiate project setup and manage them through phase gates
• Coordinate and deliver projects on time, within budget and in scope, owning the full project
• life cycle from initiation to delivery
• Motivates the team and creates a positive project atmosphere to achieve the deliverables
• Act with intercultural skills to handle different cultures and communicate consciously
• considering different working styles.
• Develop and manage the project communications plan
• Develop, manage and report on project success criteria
• Provide status reporting on all project dimensions to sponsors, steering committees &
• stakeholders as well as towards the umbrella Program
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Manage project changes, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
• Develop a sufficiently deep technical and business understanding to be able to interact with
• business and IT subject matter experts
• Work closely with diverse teams and departments to deliver on IT solutions for business
• Managing project compliance to our standards and processes
• Plan and execute meetings and workshops with various stakeholders
• Maintain and control the overall scope in reaching NIS 2 maturity within the Project

Other Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the securing CLIENT program which is part of a CLIENT-wide Transformation Program.
• Plan, track, and drive project execution, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
• Coordinate resources and manage capacity with line managers.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between stakeholders, proactively managin expectations.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps, and escalate them appropriately.
• Organize and lead project steering committees, ensuring follow-up actions are tracked and closed.
• Provide tactical recommendations and make decisions to keep the project on track

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in NIS2 impacted companies.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.

Your Qualifications:

• You have an engineering or information technology degree, or equivalent proven practical experience

• 15+ years of IT project management experience
• A proven track record leading IT complex programs in a complex setting
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in complex Security IT projects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Confidence to challenge assumptions and negotiate timelines when needed.
• Solid understanding of project management methods and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and strategic program.
• Project management certification, classical and/or agile i.e. PMP, Scrum Master etc.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and tools, and the software development lifecycle
• Experience in the energy and/or trading industry would be a plus
• You demonstrate high performance with the ability to navigate quickly between high and detailed levels, have a proactive mindset and are quickly able to get into hands-on work where needed
• You work in a collaborative way and have good stakeholder management skills
• Your working style is characterised by a strong customer focus, being results orientated, great collaboration, strong planning & organizational skills, and excellent communication skills
• Proficient in English, additionally German and/or French would be a plus
