Main Tasks of an Apprentice/Trainee (Kauffrau/Kaufmann EFZ):
Administrative and Organizational Support:
Perform general administrative tasks such as managing documents, organizing schedules, handling correspondence, and supporting daily office operations.
Application of Business Software and Digital Tools:
Use standard business applications (e.g., MS Office, databases, content management systems), maintain digital files and data, and ensure adherence to data security and privacy regulations.
Communication and Customer Service:
Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders (via phone, email, and in person), handle inquiries, provide information, and assist in resolving issues.
Operational Tasks for Air, Road, and Sea Freight Shipments:
Support the organization, coordination, and tracking of air, road, and sea freight shipments; prepare and check shipping documents; assist with bookings and scheduling; and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Project and Teamwork Participation:
Collaborate in teams, contribute to project work, help plan and implement small events or initiatives, and continuously develop professional and social skills through practical assignments and school projects.
