Job description
- You promote and support people with physical, mental or psychological disabilities and accompany them through individualised measures to strengthen their independence and enable them to lead as independent a life as possible in everyday life
- In addition, you prepare educational and care measures and actively participate in leisure and daily activities, taking into account the type and degree of the respective disability
- You motivate your protégés to engage in meaningful leisure activities, such as painting, music or sports . e.g. painting, making music or sports
- You also promote social behaviour and personal development and, if necessary, actively participate in the creation of support plans
Requirements
- You have completed vocational training as a curative education nurse (m/f/d), nursing specialist (m/f/d), educational specialist (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
- You are also very welcome as a returnee (m/f/d) or career starter (m/f/d)
- Ideally, you already have experience in working or dealing with people with physical or mental disabilities
- You bring a great deal of responsibility in dealing with people with physical or mental disabilities
- you have a great sense of responsibility, empathy and the ability to deal with conflict (e.g. in dealing with depressed people). (e.g. in dealing with people with depression)
- Accurate observation and diligence (e.g. recognising changes in the behaviour of the people in your care) are among your professional strengths
- You manage the balancing act between empathic closeness and maintaining a professional distance when dealing with people with physical, mental or emotional disabilities
