Senior Software Developer (f/m/d)

For our office in Trivandrum, dSPACE is looking for creative and motivated professionals. You will work on exciting and technologically cutting-edge product development projects, in the areas of control prototyping, code generation and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) simulation.

We are offering a position as a Senior Software Developer for the development of products that enable experiment and instrumentation capabilities and connection of MATLAB®/Simulink® models to dSPACE real-time simulation systems. As part of an agile team, you will take responsibility for implementing product requirements that enable seamless validation of control algorithms in a Rapid Control Prototyping environment in the form of high-quality software solutions. You will also execute validation workflows, troubleshoot issues, and document features of the products. In doing so, you can expect a variety of exciting, challenging and diverse tasks that you will solve together as a team.

Your Tasks

• You develop and enhance software components within an experienced agile team
• You coordinate new product functionalities with stakeholders
• You independently realize new features and solutions
• You leverage AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency and productivity
• You ensure software quality through code reviews, testing, and validation of new features and enhancements
• You contribute to our DevOps efforts to build, test, and release software faster and more reliably
• You contribute to sustainable development practices by creating clean, maintainable, and reusable code
• You actively share knowledge and best practices within the team to foster technical excellence

Your Qualifications

• You have a B.Tech/M.Tech university degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• You have strong proficiency in C# and .NET 8+, with experience building applications and writing automated tests with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit
• You have good experience in web application development using React, ASP.NET Core Web API, REST APIs, SignalR/WebSockets, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• You have good experience developing graphical web applications and responsive user interfaces, including drag-and-drop workflows, canvas-based editors, dashboards, and real-time data visualization
• You have good experience with real-time data streaming, asynchronous programming, and event-driven systems
• You are familiar with AI-assisted development practices, Large Language Models (LLMs), and the Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• You are familiar with agile software development and the use of Azure® DevOps and Git for version control and CI/CD workflows
• You have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
