Category Development Director EU – Industry
YOUR ROLE WITHIN THE GROUP
Reporting to the Industrial Offering Development Director Europe, you will join the teams
dedicated to our DEXIS network. You will play a key role in shaping and developing the Group’s industrial offering at a European level, within a professional, collaborative and people-focused environment.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Defining, leading and continuously developing the Group’s European Industrial offering strategy (products, services and solutions) in line with corporate objectives;
- Building and rolling out the offer development roadmap (new launches, optimisation and portfolio rationalisation) together with local markets;
- Leading European Category Committees and coordinating country stakeholders to align on strategy and execution;
- Ensuring the consistency, reliability and regular update of the Group’s offering framework;
- Co-developing and co-managing the Group’s private label strategy;
- Carrying out ongoing market, competitive and technology monitoring to anticipate trends and customer needs;
- Structuring and developing strategic supplier relationships, supporting negotiations and contributing to purchasing policies;
- Supporting the European marketing plan by ensuring the relevance and performance of the offering;
- Working closely with Business Development teams to co-build commercial and supplier consolidation strategies.
Regular European travel required
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You have solid experience in an industrial environment, ideally in MRO (Power Transmission, Fluid Power), within an international and multi-country context. You are comfortable working in matrix organisations, leading functional initiatives and collaborating with multicultural teams.
You bring strong market, product, commercial and marketing expertise, enabling you to analyse trends, develop a clear strategic vision and build competitive value propositions. You are experienced in supplier selection and management, with the ability to challenge partners and build long-term, high-impact collaborations.
Proactive, organised and results-driven, you are able to prioritise effectively, challenge the status quo and deliver tangible outcomes. Your natural leadership style, strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset allow you to engage stakeholders at all levels.
You are fluent in English; an additional European language would be an advantage. You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools.
