Über diesen Job
We seek a talented individual with strong drive and excellent communication skills to join our team in beautiful Philadelphia! We are looking to unravel the fundamental mechanisms of human T and B cell interaction in autoimmunity and vaccine responses. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the unique opportunity to work with primary human tissues and collaborate with leading experts in the field.
About the Role:
Develop human organoid systems to investigate how antigen-specific Tfh cells and Tph cells impact the breadth and specificity of B cell responses. Investigate how T cell cross-reactivity to commensal bacteria influences B cell responses after vaccination and in autoimmune diseases. Perform single-cell RNA, ATAC, TCR, BCR library preparation, data processing, and analyses. Design and generate recombinant class II peptide-MHC multimers and B cell multimers to detect antigen-specific cells of interest. Present at conferences and lead manuscript writing.
Requirements:
Recent Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Computational Biology or related fields. Expertise in immunological assays and flow cytometry. Advanced skills in data analysis using bioinformatics tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python). Successful applicants should be self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent written and oral communication skills are expected.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Access to cutting-edge research facilities, unique human tissues from organ donors, PBMC samples, and resources at the University of Pennsylvania.
- Mentorship and opportunities for career development and advancement.
- Vibrant research environment with a supportive and inclusive community.
