Whether to support defence forces, for rapid disaster response, or for construction projects off the beaten track. We plan, build, and operate camps and temporary infrastructure. In doing so, we manage camp infrastructure, including power generation, water supply, and sanitation in a wide variety of environments.

For our catering operation in a military base in Latvia, we are in urgent need of a Cook.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Preparation of high-quality hot and cold dishes
• Interact with customers if involved with front-of-house work
• Ensure the quality of the food served
• Efficient organization of daily kitchen operations and preparation for the following day
• Ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are met according to the FEPS internal QA system

Requirements:

• The candidate must have a passport issued by a NATO country and eligible to work in the EU
• Clean police record is a must
• Graduated from hotel or catering school or an equivalent training
• Experience in collective catering
• Experience with military customer is a plus
• High level of English is a must, both spoken and written
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Clean, independent and hands on working methods
• Knowledge of food safety/HACCP
• Driving licence B
