The role of HSE Trainer is to provide essential knowledge and practical training to achieve safe working practices within the workforce. The trainer will also have a secondary role as a HSE Advisor as and when the need arises. This role is based on site Monday to Friday full time 40 hours a week
- Working with the HSE team devise and deliver appropriate training to site needs.
- To promote the Bilfinger Behavioural Safety Wheel -SAFETY WORKS, along with the NNB Better Safe Behaviours program.
- Providing the following mandatory training -
- Manual Handling
- Abrasive Wheels
- Bilfinger Induction
- Work at Height
- Welding Dust and Fume Awareness
- Respirator maintenance and use
- To provide supervisor-related training such as:
- Setting To Work
- Toolbox Talk Delivery
- Supervisor Site Inspections
- POWRA Completion.
- Report on project HSE training targets / KPI’s in line with business and client requirements.
- Promote a positive HSE culture throughout the NSSS project, Bilfinger legal entities and the supply chain.
- Review and close out Safety Observation Cards to inform potential training needs, and co-ordinate feedback on the cards back to the workforce.
- Monitor site performance through inspections and audits as requested by the HSE Lead or HSE Manager.
- Deliver proactive guidance on site to ensure HSE processes are followed and key behaviours are embedded across the project work packages.
- Any other relevant actions assign by the manager
Experience and qualifications
Level 3 in Education and Training or experience working as an HSE Trainer
