AUTOMATION PRODUCTION ENGINEER
We are MIETHKE, a globally active, medium-sized medical technology company based in Potsdam. As a technology leader in the field of neurosurgical implants, we develop and manufacture highly specialized solutions for the drainage of cerebrospinal fluid - with precision, innovative strength and responsibility for our patients suffering from hydrocephalus.Our particularly high level of vertical integration is a key success factor here.

Be part of our colourful team: we are looking for an experienced person with extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of automation to further develop our production department - with the aim of building up your own team of experts and acting as a contact person on an equal footing with the department head.
YOUR TASKS
- You will take on responsibility at expert level with strategic influence and actively help shape the development of the team.
- You will drive the automation of our production (incl. robotics, AI, PLC) with technical depth.
- You are responsible for the training and technical support of the production team
- You will ensure a reliable exchange with the Research & Development, Quality Management and Maintenance departments.
- In close coordination with the management level, you will be involved in the strategic expansion of our production technologies.
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of practical experience in industrial production - ideally in the field of complex manufacturing processes and with CAD (preferably SolidWorks)
- Sound knowledge of PLC programming and robotics (e.g. Siemens, FANUC) Siemens, KUKA, FANUC)

A plus: knowledge of process automation, LEAN management and ideally store floor management
Strong technical understanding and implementation skills - At least 5 years of experience in interdisciplinary cooperation with various specialist departments, coupled with a strong commitment to taking responsibility and helping to build up your own team
- Strong communication skills and understanding of interfaces
