Your tasks
- Serve as the local Business Application Owner for Run-To-Run, Defect Management, and Yield Management systems: understand business requirements, identify gaps, and act as the primary contact for business stakeholders
- Translate manufacturing and process-related requirements into functional system configurations and business rules
- Analyze business requirements, develop and configure necessary system adjustments, perform tests, and document results
- Collaborate closely with the global team and external software vendors, contributing your own ideas
- Proactively identify and propose system improvements (e.g., AI), and provide consulting services regarding new features and existing solutions
- Handle production incidents: act as the primary business contact and coordinate resolution with IT teams
Who we are looking for
- Successfully completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable field of study
- Initial professional experience required, ideally in the semiconductor industry and process control
- Experience with Linux and cloud/databases (Oracle, SQL) is desirable
- Knowledge of AI/ML and scripting (e.g., Python) is an advantage
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with users and colleagues in Germany and Malaysia
- Independent working style, analytical mindset, and hands-on mentality
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
