We have approximately 800 dedicated employees working in our offices across Europe including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, and the UK, who operate local and international sales and marketing activities.
To strengthen our finance team at our headquarters in Rellingen near Hamburg, we are seeking a temporary colleague (m/f/d) for the duration of paternity leave:

Your duties:
Book Keeping Functions
VAT Handling
Book Keeping Functions
- Check and release commission invoices from agents for all branches
- Check/assist for new agent/dealer BP-accounts with the credit department for cross-border deliveries
- Book incoming bulk payments from payment provider
- Rebook/Allocation of pre-payments to invoices on OTC-BP-accounts
- Reminder runs for OTC’s manually (automation under construction)
- Assists and intensive cooperation with sales team (e.g. book keeping questions)
VAT Handling
- Monthly system download of all agency sales - Reconcile invoices
- Perform monthly re-booking of VAT
- Provide data to PWC for Intrastat Reporting - Compare Warehouse Transfer with Intrastat dispatch for accuracy
- Provide necessary data required by PWC in various countries for the timely submission of VAT reports (close collaboration with PWC)
- Check VAT calculated and VAT rate for accuracy
Your profile:
- Completed commercial training or degree in economics
- Professional experience in accounting & VAT handling is appropriate for the position, ideally in an international environment
- Strong skills in account reconciliation and master data management
- Good written and spoken German and English
- Strong numerical skills, analytical and process-oriented approach to work, and accuracy
- Good communication skills and team spirit
- Experience in working with SAP S4 / HANA is a plus
- Confident handling of MS Office 365, especially MS Excel
