Junior Controller (m/f/d)
Your duties:
- Prepare financial reports, analyses, and management presentations for internal stakeholders and management decision-making
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, including coordination with subsidiaries and departments
- Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators, identify deviations, and highlight improvement opportunities
- Support cost controlling and profitability analysis activities, including logistics, advertising, R&D, customs duties, and warehouse-related cost topics
- Maintain and administer controlling master data, including internal orders, project codes, cost centers, and allocation bases
- Collaborate with various departments to collect, validate, and analyze financial data, especially Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, and Service
- Contribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of controlling processes, reporting tools
- Support internal and external audits as required
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, financial regulations, and applicable accounting standards such as German GAAP (HGB), where relevant
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Initial professional experience in Controlling, Finance, Accounting, or a related area is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is considered an advantage
- Good understanding of financial reporting, closing, budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, and controlling principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional team environment
- Fluency in English is required; German language skills are considered an advantage
