Job description
- You propagate high-quality tuber crops and various plant species
- You carry out precise in-vitroYou carry out sowing and accompany germination in the laboratory
- You are responsible for the examination and assessment of plant material for vitality and quality
- You prepare nutrient media and carefully document test series
- You maintain a routine handling of sensitive plant material from the explant to the finished young plant
Requirements
- You are trained as a biology lab technician (m/f/d), BTA (m/f/d), plant technologist (m/f/d) or have sound experience in tissue culture
- you are also confident in using common PC software to document your work
- you work carefully and have a deep understanding of sterile working techniques
- you also have a good eye for detail and recognise changes in the plants at an early stage
- you value independent work, but are also a reliable team player
