Your tasks:

• Qualification and further development of suppliers for purchased parts and subcontracting of welded assemblies
• Conducting supplier audits and evaluating supplier performance
• Initial sample tests as well as inspections and acceptance tests directly at the supplier
• Identification of quality deviations, carrying out root-cause analyses and finding solutions
• reclamation system for purchased parts
• participation in process optimisation and quality assurance at the supplier
• creation of templates for component-specific quality documentation (dimensional reports, inspection plans)
• Support in setting up the "Supplier Quality Engineering" department and an expanded supplier portfolio
• Collaboration with various departments (production, warehouse, purchasing and quality assurance)

Your profile:

• Completed technical training (e.g. HTL, FH, apprenticeship). e.g. HTL, FH, apprenticeship in the metal sector)
• Multiple years of professional experience in supplier management, quality assurance or steel construction
• Good knowledge of reading drawings, metrology and common testing methods
• In-depth experience with quality methods (e.g. FMEA)
• Completed auditor training
• Knowledge or training in non-destructive testing and welding technology (IWE) an advantage
• Structured, precise way of working as well as a confident and convincing appearance
• Strong communication skills in dealing with internal and external partners
• Experienced in MS Office and ERP systems
• Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel of approx. 30%

For this position, a gross salary from €3,500 is envisaged on a full-time basis. We are happy to overpay depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
