Organization Summary: Dress for Success Twin Cities is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women in the Twin Cities by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Twin Cities is part of Dress for Success Worldwide, which has been in existence since 1997 and has over 120 affiliate locations internationally. Dress for Success Twin Cities opened in 2010 and in that time, has served over 13,000 women.

Position Description: Development Associate is a part-time 10 hour a week position with the primary purpose of assisting the VP of Development with sourcing funding and tracking report data. It is directly supervised by the VP of Development.

Responsibilities

· Meet with prospective corporate and community partner connections to share mission and learn about organizations and partnership potential.

· Represent DFSTC at tabling events as a brand ambassador and speaker

· Provide data entry for programming and development data into Salesforce

· As a small non-profit, all staff are expected to assist with tasks as they arise and are assigned

· Arrive early for all online and in-person appointments.

· Calmly find solutions for unanticipated issues that arise.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of business administration, sales, or other related experience. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and customer service skills. Demonstrated on-going flexibility and follow-through to meet ever-changing demands in a fast-paced organization. Growth mindset with excellent accountability and follow-through. Initiative and ability to work independently with little direction. Ability to learn new technology and platforms. Currently we are using MS Office and Teams, Zoom, Salesforce, and Acuity Scheduling.
