We are looking for a passionate Test Kit and NPI Supervisor to lead the Test Kit Team within the Optical Inspection Support group. In this role, you will oversee a team dedicated to developing test kits for tech transfer, vision improvement, and qualification, as well as leading the introduction of NPI within the Optical Inspection department. You will ensure a smooth integration of NPI into the department and support critical projects. Join our Optical Inspection Support team in Schaffhausen and help make a difference in patients’ lives worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the test kit team to ensure timely delivery of products and components, while ensuring compliance with Quality System requirements.
Mentor and supervise test kit specialists, nurturing their professional growth and development.
Oversee and manage test kit activities to support tech transfer and vision improvements, ensuring effective collaboration across critical departments such as Quality, Planning, MAM, MSAT, DPD and EHS
Lead the introduction of new products in the optical inspection department
Identify and manage improvement projects to drive excellence in production processes.
Take charge of handling non-conformances by leading thorough investigations and developing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence
Deliver training sessions focused on product launches, empowering team members with valuable skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
You have excellent leadership and communication skills, enjoy working in a team, and thrive in collaborative environments. You approach challenges in a solution-oriented and systematic way, can solve complex and multifaceted tasks, and set the right priorities. In addition to your assertiveness, you are willing to take responsibility and enjoy making a difference and driving projects forward.
Furthermore, you bring the following qualifications:
Education:
A degree in Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience, OR a PhD in one of these fields with up to 2 years of experience, is required.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry is preferred.
Strong background in production coordination and project management
Deliver training sessions focused on product launches, empowering team members with valuable skills and knowledge.
Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
Fluency (oral and written) in German and English
Results- and performance-driven
Drive to continuously improve and challenge the status quo
