Join PALFINGER as a Sales Operations & Projects Manager, where you’ll lead the execution of sales-driven projects and connect strategy with on-the-ground results. Based in Schaumburg, IL, you’ll collaborate across teams to drive alignment, performance, and customer satisfaction. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on project management in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Shape and optimize PALFINGER NAM’s sales and service footprint to drive long-term growth and customer success.
- Uncover growth opportunities through market analysis, operational assessments, and channel optimization.
- Manage real estate projects from scoping and contract negotiation to construction, renovation, and workspace upgrades.
- Support business development initiatives, including strategic partnerships, commercial due diligence, and potential acquisitions.
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects across all product lines, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities in the NAM region.
Your Qaulifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or related field, MBA a plus.
- 7+ years of relevant project management experience preferably within a commercial setting as part of a manufacturing organization, PMP preferred.
- Experience in automotive, truck or heavy industrial equipment bodybuilding an asset.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, along with a highly collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills (written/verbal).
- Ability to travel up to 50%, as required.
