Helios Klinik Schleswig GmbH is looking for a coding assistant (m/f/d) in medical controlling and employee for MD complaint management, full-time/part-time, permanent, as soon as possible.

• Ensuring correct and timely case coding in the DRG system
• Optimization of medical service documentation
• Further development of coding quality, responsibility for the preparation of regular tax information on the service profile to the medical service areas
• Dealing with cost bearers, assessment and justifications in connection with health insurance and MD inquiries
• Training and further education of medical and nursing staff in connection with the DRG system and in the use of IT systems
• Processing of incoming MD reports and performance decisions of the cost bearers as well as support in the processing of complex MD examinations
• Further education and training in the field of coding specialists

• Apprenticeship as a Medical Assistant (m/f/d)
• Professional experience in the field of coding and medical controlling as well as previous knowledge of the DRG system desirable
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as social skills
• Willingness and ability to work in an interdisciplinary manner with doctors, nurses, therapists and case management
• High degree of commitment, initiative and sense of responsibility
• IT skills (esp. Microsoft® Office, SAP IS-H)
• Proof of immunization against measles
