Direct Hire experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize engineering program execution within a dynamic aerospace‑related environment. This role is ideal for a confident, proactive leader who thrives in fast‑paced technical settings. An engineering degree is not required—what matters most is your ability to keep complex programs on track, communicate clearly, and drive operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and program milestones.
• Oversee daily operations of engineering teams to ensure productivity, compliance, and smooth execution across all active programs.
• Coordinate and direct engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to meet schedule and cost objectives.
• Identify and resolve performance issues to maintain schedule integrity and mitigate risks.
• Manage project costs and support creation of annual departmental budgets.
• Partner closely with Program Management and Scheduling teams to ensure all engineering deliverables meet contract and quality requirements.
• Develop and support engineering proposals in collaboration with business development.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through root‑cause analysis, KPI development, and process optimization.
• Oversee dispersed engineering resources while collaborating with technical leadership to ensure engineering accuracy, performance, and compliance.

What You Bring

• Proven experience with project scheduling in an engineering or technically complex environment.
• 5+ years of engineering program management or technically aligned operations management.
• Demonstrated success managing subcontracted engineering or technical services.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, and communication skills—comfortable driving schedules and holding teams accountable.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
