Your tasks
- Independent support and further development of the Wind & Railway business unit
- Conducting market, competitor and product analyses
- Identification and acquisition of new customers as well as development of additional market potential
- Expansion of market presence and further development of existing applications
- Development, coordination and implementation of market and sales strategies in close cooperation with the sales management
- Responsibility for marketing activities in the respective application area (e.g. creation of website content, publications, data sheets, etc.)
- Close cooperation with application technology and the research and development department
- Support of the market including customer development, key account management and support of the regional sales teams
- Coordination of customer projects (internal and external), if necessary as project manager for strategically important projects
- Co-design and optimization of internal processes and structures
- Responsibility for budget and investment planning
Your profile
- Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering , industrial engineering or degree as a state-certified technician
- Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the field of plain bearing systems
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Independent, loyal and sovereign personality with negotiation skills, goal orientation and a high level of commitment
- Strong communication and presentation skills as well as a high level of initiative and team orientation
- Analytical thinking skills and strong customer orientation
- Experience in the sale of technically sophisticated products that require explanation
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, organizational skills and a good sense of situations
