Staefa, Switzerland
Sonova is seeking a Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team in Stafa, Switzerland, where you will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities for new product design and development projects across Sonova’s global Operations. You will act as a strategic partner to R&D, Engineering, Quality, Marketing and Category Management — ensuring sourcing excellence from concept through launch.

More about the role
- Lead procurement activities within projects, ensuring value added and timely sourcing of materials and services
- Partner with R&D and Engineering to integrate procurement strategies into product design and development
- Support VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) initiatives to drive cost optimization and continuous improvement
- Negotiate supplier contracts and manage relationships to deliver innovation, quality, and savings
- Maintain accurate material master data in SAP through the design and development phases
- Promote sustainable sourcing practices and contribute to Sonova’s digital procurement evolution
- Collaborate globally to align sourcing plans with business objectives and category strategies
More about you
- Master’s degree in a commercial or technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience in direct procurement and project-based sourcing, ideally in a global organization, with a proven track record of delivering business value
- 3+ years of project management experience, ensuring timely and successful execution of projects
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship skills
- Solid understanding of target costing, supplier development, and value engineering
- Experience using SAP
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Curious and forward-thinking — an AI enthusiast who explores how digital and data-driven tools can transform procurement
- PMP/MCIPS/IPMA/MBA qualification or experience in Medical, Automotive, or Technology industries are an advantage
