We are partnering with a fast-growing e-mobility startup to recruit a Business Development Manager B2B. In this role, you will take full ownership of sourcing and sales operations, driving partnerships with retailers, leasing providers, and manufacturers to expand the company’s market presence. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in scaling a business with a mission to revolutionize electric mobility.
Your Role
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a strong, high-performing team of managers, operational associates, and bike mechanics.
- Operational Strategy: Define operational targets, set priorities, and develop strategies to ensure efficient operations and meet company goals.
- P&L Ownership: Manage the UpCenter’s budget and ensure operational targets are met while optimizing costs.
- Data Analysis: Dive deep into operational data to identify optimization opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement processes that streamline operations, improve financial efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
- Tool Development: Set up tools and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the company to support rapid growth and expansion, ensuring seamless operations across departments.
Your Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Operations, Consulting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong academic background in business, management, or related disciplines.
- Fluency in German (native or C1 level) and English (excellent written and verbal communication).
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage large teams.
- Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence.
- Ready to take full accountability for a complex operational scope and make impactful decisions.
