Within the initiative "Integrative Taxonomy" of the state of Baden-Württemberg, the Center for Biodiversity and integrative Taxonomy is a joint venture between the University of Hohenheim and the State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart. We are a research and communication network of over 130 scientists and with support of a managing team.

Since January 2024, the center has been coordinating a three year lasting project entitled "Education and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS): enable society to bend the curve for biodiversity” (acronym: ENABLS, funded by the European Commission). The project aims to integrate biodiversity and NBS into the curricula of European higher education institutions as well as technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions. This could be achieved through an approach that incorporates expertise from a wide range of scientific disciplines and from society at large. The consortium currently consists of 45 individuals from 11 partner institutions in Finland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Greece, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, and Germany.

Your tasks within our project are:

• Supervise the overall planning and execution of the project according to the Grant Agreement for the project.

• Lead the day-to-day coordination of the project and the consortium as a whole, establishing efficient workflows, collaboration and monitoring processes among the consortium members.

• Keep track of different tasks, project deliverables and milestones, ensuring that all project goals are achieved with due diligence within the given time constraints.

• Oversee communication and dissemination activities of the project, fostering communication among and within different stakeholder groups on the topic including the scientific community, policy-makers and the wider public

• Research Data Management for the project with data curation

• Monitor all procedures and protocols for handling privacy and ethical issues including the use of artificial intelligence during the project lifetime. Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and appropriate handling of ethical issues.

• Design and facilitate virtual, hybrid and in-person meetings, workshops and trainings that encourage people to participate, learn and network.

• Writing a policy brief on the outcomes of our project

• Engaging in our Living Lab activities for education on nature-based solutions for biodiversity at the University of Hohenheim
