- Assemble complex mechanical assemblies, including interfaces to optics and electronics
- Carry out modifications to mechanical components and assemblies
- Set up and maintain a SolidWorks library and create the Toolbox
- Document the design group’s resources in Confluence: tools, 3D printers, materials and machine park
- Support the setup of new development labs and workshops
Your Profile
Required:
- Enrolled student of Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a (partial) focus on mechanics and design
- Experience with CAD tools, ideally SolidWorks
- Enjoy hands-on work and ability to work independently, motivated and self-driven
- Flexible schedule and able to support us on site for 10 hours per week
- Good command of German and English
Beneficial:
- Proven practical experience through vocational training, internships or similar
- Basic knowledge of a programming language, ideally Python
