Your tasks:

*Responsibility of procurement for Mechtronics category, especially focus on transformers, swichtgears, Motors, substations.

*In line with global category manager’s strategy to source and develop new potential suppliers in Asia Pacific Region.

*Execution of requests for quotation, tender activities, bid comparisons and award decisions.

*Handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment.

*Lead of supplier negotiation, contract negotiations and auction within the respective categories.

Contract implementation and master data maintenance in SAP, ARIBA and TeamCenter.

*Category specific procurement controlling, continuous supplier evaluation and development.

*Proactive communication with global procurement organization, cross-functional and support teams.

*Strong presentation and negotiation skills.  

Your qualifications:

▪ Bachelor degree or higher in business related studies; engineering background will be a plus.

*Minimum 3 years of professional procurement experience in international environment

▪ Minimum 2 years of professional international souring experience, electrical/machined components are beneficial.

▪ Fully comfortable in bi-lingual working environment*Advanced mandarin and English, other language skills (German and Asian languages) are beneficial.

▪ Pro-active, team- and solution-oriented way of working.▪ Good negotiation skills and knowledge in contractual administration.

▪ Good technical comprehension.

▪ Good knowledge in MS Office, SAP and ARIBA.

▪ National and International business travel less than 30%.    

Your tasks:

Buyer for Transformers, Switchgears and Motors

- Responsible for the regional procurement of a defined product group

- Focus on the purchasing process under TCO consideration

- Realization of an active supplier management

- Implementation of the category strategy at regional level

- Manage the tender process (RFIs and RFQs) within the category

- Support and lead key tasks within the category strategy to realize the KPIs

- Follow up within suppliers and internal stakeholder on missing information out of the region

- Responsible to follow up with SQD during supplier qualification

- Responsible that the procurement master data are maintained from SSC

- Responsible to secure that the P2P Process can run automatically and is done from the dispatcher  

- Responsible that the the supply chain is stable and the master data fits to the negotiation results

- Support to GCM and PE on handling the ECM and to communicate to the supplier
