IBV Taucha mbH, as a municipal housing company of the city of Taucha, currently owns approximately 1,280 apartments with a total rental area of approximately 71,500 sqm, as well as two commercial properties (medical centers). In addition to its own properties, the team also manages properties for external owners and homeowners’ associations. Building and property management for the city of Taucha is also part of our service portfolio.

The tasks and challenges of climate protection are becoming increasingly important for the city of Taucha. Therefore, within the framework of a three-year project funding by the federal government (Municipal Directive), the position of Energy Manager (m/f/d) is being newly created.

The position is planned to be temporary for 36 months, starting September 1, 2026. Funding approval has been granted.

Your Responsibilities:

• Establishment, implementation, and maintenance of an energy management system for continuous recording and control of energy consumption data for municipal buildings
• Conducting ongoing consumption controls with the aim of identifying weaknesses and savings potential, and initiating or implementing improvements
• Energy-technical analysis, conception, and effective integration of renewable energies into existing buildings
• Development and implementation of energy-saving concepts, preparation and presentation of energy reports, training and sensitization of building users
• Optimization of plant technology in the areas of measurement, control, and regulation (MCR), lighting, and building services
• Development, initiation, and monitoring of technical projects for energy saving or increasing renewable energy shares

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed university degree in building or energy management, -technology, environmental management, civil engineering, building energy technology, or a comparable qualification
  or a degree as a state-certified technician for renewable energies, environmental protection technology, or building services with a focus on energy technology
• Team player
• Commitment and sense of responsibility
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (ERP system WODIS Sigma desirable)
