As an HR Generalist (m/w/d), reporting to the HR Service Center department of Vernier, you are responsible for the organization, management and implementation of educational and administrative activities related to Givaudan Vernier site.

In this exciting role you will :

Select and recruit apprentices according to the needs of the company
Ensure that the activities and tasks entrusted to apprentices comply with the training program according to the directives/regulations in force
Guarantee that the conditions for supervising apprentices are met (in particular the presence of one or more qualified professionals in charge of instruction)
Ensure that the workstation and the equipment necessary for practicing the profession are made available to apprentices
Ensure that the teaching methods used are compliant and appropriate
Organize, plan and coordinate professional internships in the company and outside
Maintain the necessary relationships with training partners (OFPC, professional schools, apprenticeship commissioners, apprenticeship masters, etc.)
Manage administrative activities related to the learning program (follow-up of academic results, attendance, semester evaluations, etc.)
Ensure deployment and roll out of any legal changes related to the Apprenticeship
Trainings responsibility:
Manage Site languages lessons with our external provider
Manage retirement trainings with our external provider
Coordinate ad-hoc trainings with HRMs and/or external provider if/when required
Develop 3ducational partnerships, and promote Givaudan:
Represent Givaudan towards all professional schools and universities to attract potential new talents
Develop partnerships with schools: establish and maintain relationships with schools, universities, etc., and identify relevant educational programs for Givaudan
Organize events with schools: plan and coordinate events, participate in job fairs/forums to promote Givaudan
Develop promotional materials
Evaluate opportunities with HRMs/HRBPs to implement internship or apprenticeship programs for students
Ensure follow-up and evaluation of different initiatives
HR activities:
Act as single point of contact for trainees on site (support TAS in recruitment, coordinate administration activities to ensure compliance regarding contracts and to ensure internal equity of treatment, manage departures, consolidate a pipeline of future talents)
Support HR team on specific HR projects (for instance: evaluate feasibility of participating in the "future en tous genres” local initiative)
HR Team:
Contribute with ideas and solutions within the local HR team and act as a team player by collaborating with all internal HR partners (HR admin, HR Managers/HRBPs) and external ones

Your success profile includes:
University degree in Human Resources or related field;
"Brevet Fédéral de formateur/trice d'adultes" or similar;
Certificate of "formateur/trice d'apprenti-e-s en entreprise";
Minimum 5 years of experience in coaching and training;
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus;
Strong knowledge of how apprenticeships work in Switzerland;
French mandatory, English language very beneficial;
Knowledge of HR administrative processes, including Swiss employment requirements;
Organizational skills with high sense of priorities management.
