Proclinical is seeking a Junior Buyer CAPEX to support capital expenditure (Capex) procurement activities within assigned projects and operational buying scopes. This role focuses on operational procurement execution, supplier coordination, and ensuring compliance with established procurement processes. You will work under the guidance of senior procurement professionals and contribute to the successful execution of Capex projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end operational buying activities for Capex projects, including requisition, purchase order issuance, and closeout.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in SAP, ensuring alignment with approved sourcing decisions.
• Track order confirmations, deliveries, and invoice alignment.
• Support RFQ processes by collecting data, comparing bids, and maintaining documentation.
• Assist senior buyers with supplier communication regarding pricing, delivery, and documentation.
• Act as the procurement contact for specific work packages within Capex projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Engineering, Project Management, Quality, and Finance to ensure schedule adherence and cost tracking.
• Communicate with suppliers on order execution topics and ensure compliance with procurement policies, GMP, and EHS requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Initial experience in procurement, supply chain, or operational buying is preferred.
• Exposure to technical engineering or Capex environments is advantageous.
• Structured and detail-oriented working style with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in project environments.
• Strong learning mindset and willingness to develop procurement capabilities.
• Basic commercial and contractual understanding.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong Capex experience is highly desirable.
• Fluent English is required; German is strongly preferred for local stakeholder interaction.
• Availability to work on-site in Visp at least three days per week.
