What you'll build

You will join SAP Industry Product Engineering in the Agribusiness & Commodity Management area—an environment where product architecture, engineering excellence, and AI‑powered innovation converge.

In this role, you help shape how Product Management and Engineering work together in an AI‑native future. You’ll contribute to a new generation of collaboration models, engineering practices, and exploration tracks (e.g., feasibility, prototyping, reference architecture), inspired by internal incubation initiatives.

Your work will directly support:

• Creating and operationalizing a modern collaboration model between Product Management & Engineering
• Helping define and structure architecture‑ and AI‑aligned initiatives (e.g., feasibility assessments, exploration tracks, early prototypes)
• Preparing concepts, storylines, and presentations for leadership, offsites, and incubation candidates
• Supporting early exploration of AI‑powered product ideas (e.g., Commodity Management optimizations)
• Contributing to documentation frameworks, governance models, and lightweight architecture processes
• Exploring and applying AI tools that improve engineering workflows, communication, and decision‑making

What you bring

• Enrollment as a student (f/m/d) in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong interest in product management, software engineering processes, AI‑driven productivity, and modern architecture practices
• Ability to structure information clearly, think conceptually, and communicate complex ideas in simple terms
• Curiosity for technical exploration - willing to dive into feasibility, prototypes, and hands‑on assessments (no deep coding required but technical affinity is important)
• Confident use of MS Office tools; experience with collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint) is a plus
• Fluent English: German is beneficial but not required
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and contribute proactively
• Working from the Walldorf office is required occasionally and based on prior agreement

You’ll contribute to a space where ideas become prototypes, collaboration becomes a structured operating model, and AI becomes an integral part of how we build products.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
