• Research and development in various areas of building materials
• Preparation of project proposals and grant applications
• Practical laboratory and pilot plant work
• Testing and validation of developments through plant and field trials
• Execution of service contracts in the field of material testing and analysis
• Preparation of scientific and technical reports
• Collaboration with and support of project partners and clients

• Successfully completed degree from a university or university of applied sciences, providing material-theoretical fundamentals in composition, material characterization, and material development (e.g. Silicate Technology, Materials Science, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field)
• High motivation to familiarize yourself with new and diverse subject areas
• Practical experience in building material development, production, testing, or processing
• Excellent German language skills (native speaker or at least level B2) and good English skills (at least level B1), both written and spoken
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Independent and results-oriented way of working
• Proficient use of MS Office
• Class B driver’s license
