A Snapshot of Your Day

To ensure business continuity following an internal promotion, a (Senior) Controller (f/m/d) is required for the Fluid Immersed Transformers factory in Weiz. This role is critical for maintaining financial oversight and supporting the factory's operational and project-based activities. 

To address this need, the position will focus on three core areas: Factory and Project Controlling to manage operational costs, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to guide strategic decisions, and Reporting and Process Optimization to enhance system efficiency, particularly with SAP S4/HANA. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Factory & Project Controlling
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis for factory operations, including variance analysis and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform financial controlling for factory-specific projects, from initial cost estimation to final settlement.
  • Collaborate with production and supply chain management to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage investment controlling processes for factory-related capital expenditures.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for the factory, ensuring alignment with overall business targets.
  • Analyze internal financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow, to provide insights to management.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and forecast future business performance.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of external economic factors such as inflation and exchange rates on business operations.
• Reporting & Process Optimization
  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for local and group management.
  • Support and optimize financial processes within the SAP S4/HANA environment, including regular finance data maintenance to ensure data integrity.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of controlling processes and tools to enhance transparency and accuracy.
  • Act as a key financial business partner to factory management, driving financial decisions for operational topics through ad-hoc analysis and decision support.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis or controlling, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience with SAP ERP systems (FI/CO), with S4/HANA experience being a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial projects and processes independently, consistent with a senior professional level.
• Advanced financial management and analytical capabilities, encompassing financial analysis and planning, budgeting, corporate finance, and strong business acumen.
• Effective use of systems and tools, including SAP applications, accounting software, and data visualization solutions such as Power BI to support analysis and reporting.
• High professional effectiveness, demonstrated through strong analytical thinking, a continuous improvement mindset, clear accountability for outcomes, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.

Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of 52 853,78 € gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
