A great Account Manager at Travelport is the trusted partner for our customers-someone who knows the Austrian travel landscape inside out and can turn that knowledge into real business impact. You'll be the face of Travelport for a portfolio of mid-tier agencies and partners, building relationships that go beyond transactions. This isn't a role where you wait for instructions; it's about taking ownership, spotting opportunities, and driving growth with confidence and creativity.
You'll translate complex technology into clear value for customers, helping them succeed in a fast-changing travel environment. Every day, you'll combine commercial acumen with local market expertise to deliver solutions that matter. Responsibilities include:
- Own and manage a portfolio of mid-tier travel agency accounts in Austria, driving retention, growth, and profitability.
- Develop and execute account plans that leverage deep knowledge of the Austrian travel market to deliver customer success and competitive advantage.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and proactively identifying new business opportunities.
- Negotiate and renew contracts, ensuring alignment with Travelport's commercial objectives and customer needs.
- Operate as a self-starter-independently prioritizing, problem-solving, and mobilizing internal resources to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Deep understanding of the Austrian travel industry, including key players, market dynamics, and distribution trends.
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative-comfortable operating as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in account management, contract negotiation, and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
