Area Sales Manager - Pulp (m/f/d)

To strengthen our global team in Vienna, we are looking for an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager Pulp (m/f/d). In this key role, you will shape the growth of our pulp business in a designated region - allocated based on your prior experience and language skills - while taking full responsibility for the commercial performance of your department. What we are looking for:

Education : Degree in economics, sales, logistics, business development, or related field
Experience : At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in the pulp industry, including a proven sales track record
Languages : Fluent English (company language), in addition French, Spanish or Portuguese, German is not a must
IT Skills : Proficient in MS Office, SAP knowledge is a plus
Personal skills : Strong, proactive personality, excellent negotiation skills, confident and persuasive communicator, target-driven with entrepreneurial mindset
Social skills : High degree of intercultural awareness and willingness to travel

Your contribution to building bridges:

Business Development & Regional Ownership
• Develop and grow the pulp business in your designated region, including market research
• Take responsibility for the performance and financial results of your department
• Build and maintain relationships with key sourcing and sales partners

Operational Sales
• Prepare offers and define optimal logistics solutions with back-office support
• Lead negotiations with customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders
• Manage international trade processes (trade finance, LC’s, logistics, and shipping)
• Handle quality and major transport claims
• Organize business trips and maintain regular reporting
• Collaborate with our liaison offices as needed

Leadership & Department Management
• Lead and develop your team
• Manage sales, budgeting, and planning
• Define departmental strategy and ensure proper credit management according to internal guidelines
